Looking for a fun family-friendly activity that guests of all ages will love? A Bonfire Party at Cougar Ridge is the answer. This weekly event takes place at Cougar Ridge Lodge and is open both to guests of the Lodge and to the public. Guests enjoy a bonfire and snacks, followed by a guided stargazing program.
The Details
Starting April 2023, Bonfire Parties at Cougar Ridge will be hosted most Tuesday and Saturday evenings. The party starts just after sunset, and lasts between one and two hours, though you’re welcome to leave early or stay after the event is over to continue stargazing.
The Bonfire Party costs $50 per adult and $35 per child. The bonfire is provided, as well as s’mores, chairs, hot drinks, and blankets. After enjoying a bonfire and some snacks, you’ll walk to a stargazing location, where your guide will teach you about what you’re seeing. A telescope will also be present to help you get a closer look.
Meeting times and locations vary depending on weather and cloud coverage. Details will be provided on the day of your event.
